Deccan Festival is celebrated annually on 25 February and continues till 5 days at Qutub Shahi Tombs in Hyderabad. Organized by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, Deccan festival showcases rich culture, art and music which include cultural programmes like ghazal nights, qawalis and mushairas and special Hyderabadi cuisines. Renowned singers and dancers are also invited to show their talent and art.
Apart from arts, crafts, culture and the popular Nawabi cuisine of Hyderabad another major attraction of this five-day long festival is the pearl and bangle fair displaying the creations in lustrous pearls and multi-hued bangles that are local specialties.
