Taj Mahotsav is a 10 day annual festival held at shilpgram just a walking distance away from Taj Mahal in Agra. We will be celebrating 22th year of Taj Mahotsav, the most awaited festival which is to be celebrated from 19th-28th February this year. Started in the year 1992 and since then festival has reached to heights attracting large number of locals and foreigners which come here to see the vibrant platform which this festival draws.
Taj Mahotsav has got in store for everyone who is coming to visit the festival right from the elder one who are interested in household things to the children’s who are looking for fun and food stuff and for the one who are displaying their arts and craft work. Every year nearly 400 artisans from diiferent parts of country get an opportunity to show their art work. Bamboo or cane work from North East , Wood or stone carvings from Tamil Nadu, paper work from south India and Kashmir, the marble work from Agra itself and wood carving, brass wares , handmade carpets from Saharanpur, Moradabad and Bhadohi Respectively are among the few of them.

You will experience dances of various regions performed by well known artists mainly Brij Bhumi dance and folk and classical music which reflects the glorious past of Mughals and as far as food is concerned variety of dishes for all the visitors to treat there taste buds with lip-smacking spicy Indian-Mughal food.
Taj Mahotsav is Celebrated with the different theme every year for the world. Our tradition, our heritage, the theme for Taj Mahotsav This year. Earlier in 2009 the theme for Taj Mahotsav was Sulah kul which means Universal Peace and harmony.
