To feel the touch of nature Ooty is the right spot for the lover of nature. This green and pictorial ‘Queen of Hills ‘also known as’ Ootacamund’ is the capital of Nilgiris district. It is one of the most attractive tourist place in India. Ooty is also a land of picturesque picnic spots. Used to be popular summer and weekend gateway for the Britishers during the colonial days. It is situated at an altitude of 2,240mt above sea level. To truly experience the charm of this hill station in the Nilgiris Mountains one should one should take the little Blue Mountains train to Ooty from Mettupalayam. A ravishing day trip is to Pykara where you can see rolling grassland and the unique concial huts of the toda tribe. Ooty attracts tourists by its charming flowers, lofty mountains, dense forest, acres and acres of tea estate.

Itinerary for Ooty Tour Package

Duration : 4 Days / 3 Nights

Detinations : Coimbatore – Mudumalai – Ooty – Chennai

Day 01 :
pick from coimbatore rly stn at 6am.refresh and drive to ooty (90kms,3hrs).check into the free for leisure and shopping.evening boating in the ooty lake.o/n halt.
Day 02 :
after breakfast,drive to mudumalai. drive through kallatti forest(it has some breathtaking views and sometimes wild animals can be seen enroute).visit the elephant camp and mudumalai wildlife sanctuary.after lunch drive back to ooty via gudalur.enroute visit pykara dam.o/n halt.
Day 03 :
full day ooty local sight seeing incl Boatanical garden,dodabetta,lake,7th and 9th mile (film shooting locations).o/n halt.
Day 04 :
after breakfast drive down to coimbatore to airport.then check in to hotel vaidurya.after lunch visit perur patteeswarar temple and marudhamalai murugan temple.check out the hotel and drop at the rly stn at 9pm for return journey to Chennai.
